Hi Shane. Thank you for your feedback.
I want to recommend to other folks to research the supplier before they deal with them. Google reviews, check scamadviser.com. Always pay with PayPal, so you at least stand a chance of getting your money back through this payment provider. You must file a refund claim with PayPal in the event that a shipment has never arrived or not as described within 180 days of paying. It’s a good idea to get a tracking number, even if you have to pay extra -- you can use it as evidence. I've made a mistake of not buying a tracking number from Banggood, now I have no idea what happened to my purchase.
I ordered 2 small packages from TinyDeal and 1 from Banggood to test the suppliers in April, 2018. It's October now, and 1 TinyDeal package and a Banggood package that were shipped just haven't made it.
I have emailed Banggood and received no response to query. When I contacted the supplier again, my emails bounced off as "undeliverable". I made an order with this supplier, but now I am not able to contact them to help me with my problems? Money is taken. Now I have no goods and no money.
I'm currently waiting for a PayPal depute resolution regarding TinyDeal and Banggood. Trying to get my money back from these suppliers is an ordeal.
My personal experience with TinyDeal turned out exactly the same as what other legit buyers have written in their online reviews. The suppler refused to give me my money back. Their answer was a generic reply instructing me to wait for the goods, but I've already waited for half a year. 6-months delay is in no way due to poor weather conditions or slow customs clearance, plus the tracking indicates that my parcel arrived in Laos en route to my destination in May where it simply disappeared. When I asked for a refund, I kept getting told to simply "wait".
Under the PayPal terms, I have the legal right to a refund if I don't receive my purchase within 180 days. TinyDeal, however, has been quite aggressive in acting as if they're not sure if I'm entitled to a refund. Thank goodness I know my rights. In a third letter they offered to return 70% of the money they took from me. After I advised them that I'm entitled to a full refund under the PayPal buyer protection the supplier did not reply to me anymore. So I filed for a PayPal resolution. Here is my appeal:
"I'm appealing for a resolution, as my purchase from Tinydeal Trading Limited have never arrived within a reasonable 180-days time and a seller is refusing to give a me full refund of my purchase' cost. I have brought goods from Tinydeal to the amount of $5,69 USD with free shipping on 26 April, 2018. The parcel was dispatched by Tinydeal on 30 April, 2018 but never arrived to my destination. My tracking records, as given in our PayPay correspondence, indicate that the package has not moved from Laos in 6 months, with tracking number stating "Expired". The solutions that the seller has proposed during our PayPal correspondence, such as waiting indefinitely for my purchase to arrive or refunding only a part of my money, are not acceptable to me as I consider these to be unfair and a breach of contract agreement. After my last request for a full refund on PayPal, I received no refund or any further communication from the seller."
I believe it's a good idea to report the traders acting unfairly. This probably won't help resolve my case but it could stop them from taking advantage of other people.
