How to deal with suppliers requiring tax ID

Hi,

I have found some suppliers that I would like to work with. Some of them require Tax ID/ Reseller License. I am from Oregon where sales tax is not applicable. Based on my research and understanding, Tax ID doesn't exist for resellers in the state of Oregon. So without Tax ID, would suppliers that require it have a problem accepting me in their dropship program?

It's really going to come down to the actual supplier and why they require it. In the event that a supplier requires it as evidence of you being a registered reader, then they will require some form of business id. It's best to really discuss that with the suppliers as to what they are willing to accept.
