Please note, it's important to inquire with any supplier you are interested in doing business with about any current account restrictions that may effect your ability to market their products before making application to open an account.
Suppliers may, for various reasons at times, decide to limit access to sellers dealing on specific sites such as eBay or Amazon for example. This is of course the supplier's right to do, but can come as a shock to sellers after already attempting to sign up for an account and then being rejected.
To save any confusion up front, just simply clarify with the supplier if there are in fact any such current account restrictions in place that may impact on you being approved to be an authorized seller.
These restrictions will usually not effect any current account holders, they are mostly aimed at new account subscribers. In many cases such restrictions are put in place by suppliers to offer a level of protection to their current account holders by limiting the chances of an over saturation of their marketplace, by introducing an influx of new sellers.
