Dropshipping in usa

I have just signed up. I am now thinking about dropshinng to USA. I am a norwegian.

It suddenly hit me that I may have to deal with VAT for the customers.

My plan now is to find dropshppers from USA and have them shipping in the USA. I also plan to setup a webshop

Would I need to charge the customer for VAT in my shop.?

Would I need to charge VAT on ebay?

Anything else I need to know*?

Hi Stein and welcome to the forum,

If you're dropshipping products from an American supplier to American customers, then no VAT issues to worry about at all.

Hi, if you want to dropship here in USA sign with Novatech wholesale is a great company with a good customer service (you always talk with a person not to an answer machine) and they have 2700 name brands and over 32000 products am selling on Amazon and ebay and they are my dropshipping they offer Amazon and ebay auto listing is a good tool the system will do everything for you I'm not getting pay for this am telling you this info because am very happy with this company and I want to help you (ask for Larry Collings he's a professional guy).

I still got a question. Shouldnt I charge Vat in my webshop? I guess tdhe IRs (?) would like to get their hands on the collected VAT.?

I don't really know how your tax is setup there, but my assumption would be that yes, you would need to cover VAT
