I see many new messages every day with new members looking for the best wholesale deals and what companies to get them from. Most of you don't even think to imagine that your best wholesale deals come from the same place you're wanting to sell on. ==============WWW.EBAY.COM================= You can buy every wholesale list and guide on the internet but you will find the best deals right on Ebay. Just click the BUY tab and Search for any product line you're interested in and Add the word or words: 'LOTS' or 'WHOLESALE LOTS' The same online wholesalers are selling the same items on EBAY for generally less then they sell them on their own websites because of a much faster turnover rate for their Overstock, Closeouts, and Liquidation Products. _________________________________________ First thing first research your products. Don't get screwed out of your investment by making a big mistake on your product line.. ---------------------------------------------------------------- My advise to you on one big thing, stay away from top brand name electronics products or you will get washed away. Statistics show that 75% of new Ebayers try to sell heavy items like Digital Cameras, Computer Parts that are high in demand. And the very same statistics show that 90 % of those new Ebayers give up in the first year because they lost way too much money trying to sell the products and got eaten alive by the hidden end of item charges that Ebay stamps on you for high dollar items. The average Ebay noobie will try to find a product from a dropshipper or supplier that can supply the product for let's say 20 bucks lower then the average selling price on Ebay. They spend about 5 bucks to list the add and more if it doesn't sell the first time. Let's say the item in question is a laptop PC. The seller can get it for $1,650 from a dropshipper. The average selling price on Ebay is. $1,700 .. The new seller goes ahah I can make money on this, 50 bucks is a good profit. They then list the item and well it sells for $1,700. The seller would quickly assume hey I made 50 bucks. Well a month later they receive their Ebay invoice and it has a fee of $69 dollars for the closing value fee and then paypal hits you with a $30 dollar processing fee for processing the credit card transaction. Well it looks like the seller is in trouble. He didn't make any profit at all but he sure lost a lot of money. On top of that before he actually realizes his mistake he's already sold 30 items of high value, thinking he made $1500 bucks only to find out he owes ebay and paypal $2970 and when he can't pay, his account gets closed and he loses his interest in Ebay and sticks to his 9-5 job. If you're new to Ebay, stay away from high dollar items until you can buy the items at rock bottom prices. Start small and buy your wholesale directly from Ebay.

Well really the best way is just to have a gallery picture of the item. And if you can risk it a low starting bid. A very detailed description most items are viewed many times. Almost every item listed on ebay will have at least 20-65 hits or more.

You can also try free auction sites. No listing fees, no final fees, no sign up fees. I have just started listing on a couple sites. I figured it's free so what do we have to lose. I'll let you know how it goes.

You don't have as many buyers but you don't have as many sellers either. I am currently trying to spread out on the net (use auctions to advertise my store)

I always have a good gallery pic,a good discription,etc. Ive been told to list many items at one time,sometimes acouple things will sell and other times I can't give them away.I'm very picky about what I sell,only nice things I would buy myself.Guess I have to keep trying.

I have found this site to be very informative. Also they have a tool there called 'eBay misspelling tool' You type in a word and it brings up all the sellers on eBay who misspelled the name of the product they are trying to sell.

This is a great benefit to buyers, because very few people will see these sellers products all because it was spelled wrong. So now your chances of getting that product at the lowest possible price is much more likely.

Those times are good. And Also

I find I can get heaps more sales listing my items to close on monday thru wednsday from 6AM-8AM. I close many auctions at those times in the morning. Alot of the buyers are canadian but they generally buy the more expensive items too

I am so frustrated! I check out the the prices on these websites from salehoo. I go to ebay and I see the item being sold at a price lower than what the supplier is asking for.Example a supplier sells an item for $17.00 I see it selling on ebay for $15.00. I have been through tons of suppliers and I keep coming up with the issue. Does anyone have any good advice?

Hi I have just joined Salehoo, and read your post as a newbie I am enquiring to the cost of using paypal you state that thay charge $30 for a transaction, is that dependant on the cost of the item?

Whoa if it were 30 Dollars per transaction I would be bankrupt.

Here are the current fees:

Monthly Sales Price Per Transaction

$0.00 USD-$3,000.00 USD 2.9% + $0.30 USD

$3,000.01 USD-$10,000.00 USD 2.5% + $0.30 USD

$10,000.01 USD-$100,000.00 USD 2.2% + $0.30 USD

> $100,000.00 USD 1.9% + $0.30 USD

paypal charges 3.5% plus a flat fee of $0.35. So if you are collecting a total of $100 you would pay a fee of $3.85. It is the easiest way and in my opinion the most widely trust form of payment on the internet

Thanks so much for this sticky. Its really good advice. I have seen the cameras and computers going....and wasn't sure whether i want to stick to my hobby...scrap booking. or go in another direction with computers and peripherals (sp?) and such. I see the high price signs...and i just wonder what the down side is. I am also struggling with finding wholesalers for my small priced scrap booking items. but you say eBay eh....Canadian here. I will looking into spending some investment funds on eBay and sell them back. i just wonder how much of a profit i will be making. is it worth it.??? I struggle with the unanswered!

Well, it does say it in their price listings technically.

Though it is very hard to read, and most often you have to look at the fine print!

Another thing that some people may not be aware of, you can open your own auction listings for free at a whole arena of websites like Link hidden: Login to view and Link hidden: Login to view

Then if you want, you can keep those listings open indefinitely and link them directly to your web store.

I had forgotten how nifty that is, because I just saw I had bids on my item over at the free site!!

And what's more, you CAN link your free auction listings straight to your web store and drive all the traffic coming to your website/ storefront to the items and therefore make instant sales. It DOES work and is legal if you have alot of traffic going to your store.

$30 if u sell a item worth $1700 or something. i sold something for $50 once and because the buyer paid with a credit card it only cost me -$2 in paypal fees.

liquidation.com is just an auction site, if you win the bid you get to buy. I have heard in the past that liquidation.com charges high shipping?
