Selling iPhone3G on eBay

I have an iphone 3gs for sale but my only problem is I would have to include the shipping fee of $75 to ship it world wide as that is how much it would cost to ship international buyers

Does anyone think that having a shipping fee for an iphone 3gs is reasonable for $75?

ebay displays that I should reduce the price to be more competetive but if i put it into the final price and I don't get much interest from other buyers.

Any ideas?

Hi William

I would suggest the best way to really get a good idea would be to check out the product costs on international eBay platforms. For example, eBay Australia, eBay UK and so on. See how you stack up in comparison with local sellers, also how your prices stack up against other local international shippers.

That will tell you if you'll be competitive on price.

i had a quick look on int ebay sites ebay australia and ebay uk only to find out most of the sellers in the au only ship to Au and most ebay uk sellers only ship to Uk and there shipping is quiet cheap $15 usd for shipping but for me to make profit on what i sell as most australian sellers sell their ones for about 200 aud and shipping from nz to overseas is 89 Nzd for international shipping overseas ddue to the mobile phone battery.

its hard since im shipping from nz to us shipping is about 89 nzd so about 75 usd unless i find a cheap way to ship to us for iphones 3gs

Sorry, I thought you were actually shipping from the US. Hard to imagine you would be able to compete in the US market shipping from NZ.
