I am Jumping on this post as - ideally - I would like to know how Success Rate is calculated and the units used.

I can't think of a reason not to give units like epc... ... ?

You may be using catagory averages to adjust numbers between catagories with widely different volumes.

Success rate is a simple measurement of how many sales are made to how many items are listed of the same item. If there are 100 of the same item listed and 50 of them sold, then that's a success rate of 50%. It doesn't drill down as to why those 50 sold and the other 50 didn't, just the basic raw data sales conversion rate.

One more question on this:

Is the success rate based on a period of time such as a month or year? !00% a week, for instance is way better than 100% a year to a newbie who can't afford to wait a year to make a sale.
