How to narrow search results

Please advise on the best way to narrow down searches.

I want to run a search for all wholesalers that matches the keywords I enter.

For example, I tried to find a wholesalers located only in California, and when I do, a lot pop our from all over the United States and the world.

This makes it harder for me to find what I am looking for.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

You can narrow down by country and supplier type, but not by state. So if for example you select Home and Garden, then you will get a VIEW BY MENU display. Select MORE OPTIONS, then you cam choose your supplier type there to narrow down results,

Try to use a few words as possible, the more words you use, the cross referencing the search engine might do and the more mixed results you may get.

The search engine can't perform local searches that defined just yet You would have to search North America and then go through the suppliers listed in your particular category.

Those who are looking for state-specific wholesales, why not just use local business directories? Or even the yellow pages for the major cities in that state? It's pretty easy to find local/regional businesses.

Also, In cases where the product you are searching for your search is not readily available within your specified parameters, eBay would send in suggestions on where you can buy the items outside of your search vicinity.
