From what I have read, generally speaking dropshipping is not allowed on Amazon although somewhat a gray area. Amazon clearly states you should not have items listed if you do not have it in stock.
But many seasoned sellers don't strictly follow this and still sell on Amazon via dropshipping. Just make sure that your dropshipper is highly reliable and can ship items on time all the time! And may be just may be you won't get in trouble :)
