Hi Simo,
That sounds exciting! :) There are several hotels to choose from along Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, and I think this is a good spot to be in while in HK. It has a concentration of stores, shopping malls/spots (Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard, cosmetic stores in Granville Road and Harbor City) , restaurants and very near to the Victoria Bay / Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Beach, Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Cultural Center. So many things to do and to check out at Hong Kong one visit will not be enough. :) From this city you can also board a ferry and cross to Macau. :) Along Nathan Road there's transportation/bus that can conveniently bring you back to the airport. The real struggle in visiting these countries is the language barrier, very few speak English and if you have someone who can guide and translate, you'll have fun, otherwise you need to do a lot of planning. :)
If you need any further help let us know. Take care.
