Starting to import

Hi!

Well im starting to import from China, I'm from Mexico and i've a doubt there is any way to import faster because i'm importing by China Post with free shipping and by this mean i dont have any problems with "aduana" but the delivery time is too long, someone of Mexico who knows another way to import from China to here and without problems with "aduana"?

In terms of expediting the shipping time, this will greatly depend on your supplier and their logistics company.

Thanks, i've read itmbut the problem in Mexico is that when i place an order by DHL or UPS i've heard that aduanas take the order and i need to pay a tax, someone of Mexico that share with me your experiences importing form China?

Hello again Ventas-Premium,

Unfortunate as it may seem, a number of countries have laws and fees posted for imported items so unless you want to get in trouble you will need to comply with them.

Goods imported to Mexico are subject to an eight-digit classification system, which determines the duty rate and establishes any applicable non-tariff barriers such as quotas or other restrictions. These applicable duties and taxes can be paid at commercial banks locates at the Mexican port of entry. A value added tax (VAT) is also added by Mexican authorities which is normally 15 percent of the value of the goods. VAT for goods staying within the border zone (up to 20 kilometers south of the U.S. border) is 10 percent. There is also a customs processing fee of 0.8 percent.

Thanks i'll need to search another way if i'd pay the "taxes" my business doesn't work because i wouldn't gain the money that i need :(
