Should I use my domain or personal name when selling on ebay?

I am about to post things I found around the house on ebay. What name should I use? Is it personal name or go by a domain name.

Hi dypattinc,

In regards to your eBay id, it can be pretty much anything at all. The only guiding factor is that it's something that is still available to use.

Having a domain name registered doesn't give you an automatic right to use it as your eBay id. If someone else is already using it within eBay, then even though you have it registered as a domain, you wouldn't be allowed to use it as your eBay id.
