Sunrise Wholesale Merchandise-how is their dropship service?

Hi, I am new to SaleHoo and the whole online selling in general. I am at the point now where I am looking for any dropshipper to sell a few things to get started. I have found Sunrise Wholesale Merchandise. Although it looks pretty good, I am not sure if they can dropship to Canada which is where I live. They also said they will sell you a website already pre-loaded with their merchandise for about $50.00 per month so you can go right on eBay, Amazon, etc and start selling right away. Can you tell me a little about this? It does sound pretty good but you know the saying if it is too good to be true, it probably is, right? I just want an honest unbiased opinion!

Sunrise Wholesale Merchandise is a good dropshipper but Frank has a good point! Such store or turnkey websites already filled with products sound attractive, but they do not necessarily provide the most profitable products to resell and we do not recommend them.

Using SaleHoo to find suppliers requires a bit more work, but you get access to genuine wholesale suppliers offering the best wholesale prices on the internet. You can purchase directly from these suppliers and use their products to sell either online or at flea markets and brick and mortar stores

Oh, I just woke up and noticed the name of the company is in the title of the thread. It's a joke scanning their product pages, Sunrise looks like they are just reselling SMC's stuff. You'll get slaughtered - you can find the identical items on eBay, in flea markets etc. at or even below the "wholesale" prices listed on the Sunrise site. The "Gold" membership charges you $20 a month -- almost enough for an SMC membership, if I am not mistaken and you still aren't getting the SMC prices.

Add to that the fact that their shipping prices are insane -- UPS ground for 25% of the order total with a minimum charge of $8.95 ???

Seriously, I take back everything I said that implied giving any kind of a benefit of the doubt about ("value propositions" etc.) This is just a silly crap site selling crap at twice its actual wholesale price, then adding a handling fee on top of that, to whomever is gullible enough to fall for it.

Thanks for all the info. The Salehoo Stores sound amazing, one question: does it come with a website or do we still have to integrate our own website into the SaleHoo Store? Sorry I'm a total greenhorn! Also what dropshipper do you recommend, just to start I'm willing to sell anything. I'm good at selling I just need to find a reliable dropshipper, make some money, then stock my own stuff. Once again, I appreciate the help!

I just learned a LOT from this thread! Even thought it is 6 years old, I just signed up with Sunrise Wholesale about 4 months ago. I have been doing all I can to find that 'sweet spot' when it comes to pricing their products. It is almost impossible to price. Although their eBay wizard is convenient, you lose money for using it only because of how much they ask for in shipping. You'll have to have a 50% mark up just to gain a 15% profit for yourself. Seeing all of these comments was incredibly helpful and I wish I had seen them before I signed on and gave them money. I will remain loyal to SaleHoo, but doing all I can to close my relationship with Sunrise Wholesale.
