New to Dropshipping - Anyone got tips for me?

Hello, I'm a young woman who wants to own her business, or atleast just make $50-$100 more a month,but doesn't have a lot of startup cash for it so I'm really interested in dropshippers. I'm not new to wholesalers at all but I've never used a dropshipper before. I had a tax id in 2009 but closed it out because previous suppliers weren't very good. Their products were bad and didn't offer dropshipping.

Anyone got any tips for me? I'm not sure if Salehoo is right for me either.

Hey and thanks for the reply. I would like products from the USA since I need to start off with a dropshipper and shipping from overseas would most like take forever and cost more plus, I'm sure they don't dropship from Asia.

Or do they? lol

The products I'm interested in are anything in electronics, makeup or kitchenware. Products that will sell quick, lol. Especially items that people KNOW they want. I don't want clothes or something that would most likely have to be returned because it doesn't fit.

And that's another question. What to do with a return that was dropshipped? Meaning, does a dropshipper accept returns?

I would rather buy in bulk and resell but can't do it right now so I need to advertise it online, like ebay, and when ordered by the customer just have it shipped to them as cheaply but as quickly as possible.

I'd like to sign up with Sedonline.com but I'm having trouble with getting a login. It says I need an account number. I'm in Ga, they're in GA, they dropship, I need a dropshipper, no tax id needed, I have to file for one AGAIN. They look like a pretty good choice to start with maybe.

Yes, your assumption of the shipping rate and time are correct. Of course shipping will be a bit more expensive and will take longer since they are located further away from you. Yes, we have a number of dropshippers from Asia.

And that's another question. What to do with a return that was dropshipped? Meaning, does a dropshipper accept returns?

How drop shipping returns are handled depends on the drop shipper's policy. Many drop shippers will accept and process returns, replacing a faulty item with a new one, or issuing you with a refund if necessary (which you then pass onto the customer).

The drop shipper's policy will also inform you whether you should direct your customer to send the item to you for forwarding, or straight back to the drop shipper.

Make sure you check their returns policy on the drop shippers website before you start selling items, so you are clear what action to take.
