I don't personally know of the site you mention in your post, however I will suggest that you take a look and any craft type markets you have in your area.
Quite often these markets will have stalls stocked with really unique items such as you are searching for. If you can find one run by the actual creator themselves, you can try to negotiate a supply deal with them, even a drop shipping deal.
Of course you don't want to blab out that you want to sell their products on eBay, because if they're not already doing that, they soon will be after your discussion lol.
I absolutely love weekend type markets as supply resources, they give you the opportunity to find some really cool and unique items that you can test market, and of course if the products work, you can have your own private supplier : )
