Been working with some contacts for a while now looking to see if we could put together some video game deals for Australian and New Zealand sellers, and I've made some decent progress in recent times.
Nothing guaranteed at this point, but if you are interested in selling NEW Video Games into the Australian and New Zealand markets, then drop me PM with your requirements and I'll see what I can do, but please don't post inquiries here in this thread or on the forum in general, PM inquires only so I can keep tab of everything.
These deals will be wholesale only, but we're trying to negotiate small MOQ amounts at this point to keep the outlay down as much as possible. We can't offer drop shipping as an option sorry, so please don't ask lol
The margins will vary on game titles and possibly even console types, just dependent on what deal we can secure at the time. I would suggest dealing in newish releases personally, games a month or two old, but still selling well. They will usually be where the best margins are as a general rule, brand new releases are very tight on margin, even at wholesale price, the hotter the title, the smaller the margin at wholesale level usually.
If you've never dealt in the Video Games market, then they don't have the biggest margins to start with, as you should be able to imagine with a product that sells as well as they do. I deal in the market myself, and I would suggest that making around 5-7 dollars per title on a newish release is pretty solid in general.
Of course that is eBay I'm talking about, if you're looking at selling through your own website, well the margin can be massive, but you need to be drawing in the traffic to make the most of the much larger margins.
For those without much capital to invest, you might want to register your interest in sharing a load with other interested members by posting in this thread.
Now these games are all genuine release titles and are all in PAL format, no Region Free rubbish. Permission looks like being granted to offer the games into the Australian and New Zealand markets only, no where else, even if the format is PAL like the UK, sorry.
For those interested in selling second hand games, we're currently looking at avenues that will enable members to purchase them as well. Second hand games can have some excellent margins in them, even on eBay, so it's an avenue well worth considering if you're into the gaming market.
Also working on some of the popular electronics and mobile phone products as well, but I'll know more about those products over the coming month, fingers crossed : )
