Want to order a product from alibaba

Hello,,

I want to buy a product from a supplier on alibaba.com, and I want to pay with escrow. I tried to look for the product on aliexpress.com but they don't have it.

How can I do this. To buy something from a supplier from alibaba and pay through escrow.

Hi ibrahim koky,

Does the supplier you are planning to buy from offer escrow as a payment service? If he does then there should be no problem at all. If they don't then you obviously can't pay them through escrow.

I would suggest verifying this with your supplier so you know for sure.

By the way, have you done the necessary background research on the supplier you are planning to buy from? Alibaba.com is not the safest place to buy from unless you know the supplier yourself or know someone reliable who has bought from that supplier.

The supplier dosnt offer escrow.

I did make search by the company name on google and found nothing bad about them or any feedback.

I am still not sure about them actually

Another thing, I am trying to contact them through alibaba but the don't reply.

The company name is Zhongxingao Technology.

Any ideas what should I do?

Since escrow is not being offered by the supplier then there is no way you can pay using escrow unless your supplier will agree to make a special arrangement for you.

It's often difficult to locate feedback for Alibaba.com suppliers since they often don't have their own websites. So there is no way of telling how long they have been online.

One thing that caught my attention was they advertised themselves to be selling pacifiers and other silicone products yet they are actually selling something else.

Might be best to avoid this one..

By the way, there are a number of legit suppliers on SaleHoo selling similar products.

I am just looking for a certain product they sell that I already sell and I am looking to get it cheaper then I am buying it for now.

Where are the suppliers that we have here on salehoo. Can you provide me with some of them.

I can just understand your concersn about payments.

Well some money tranfer companies offer passwords.

or why not try to arrange COD terms with them, that is the most safest way.

I pay $150 per month to a trusted Staff in China, who not only accept COD, but also find a best freight forwarder for me, ofcourse your goods have to be large quantities.

I find that most suppliers do not accept COD as a payment method and I think its understandable why they don't. But a few might reconsider once you become a regular/established buyer.

You're lucky you found a trustworthy Chinese (local) to help you out with your orders.
