Advice needed on where to start

Hi, Im new to salehoo and I am Wanting to open up a ebay business. My goal is to become a powerseller in 90 days. The problem is I have no idea how to start. I have bought things on ebay before and I have sold one iteam which I did not get the money I would have liked for it. I have read alot of forums on here and read up about ebay. But I think I have overloaded myself with information and now just plain confused. One of the main problems I have is that I dont know what to sell. I would like to dropship but have no idea what. And am trying to figure out how to make a profit out of it instead of just paying for the ebay fees and for the product. I have been researching iteams for about 1 month now and have gotten nowhere. the ideas that i came up with dont make much money and I will be only getting around $20 profit. which for the time and effort I put in will be upsetting to me.

You're definitely not the only one asking that question (lol) But seriously, its a great goal you have there just be sure not to make it a deadline otherwise you may end up frustrated...

Also, two very common tips are to start selling things you find around your home and sell something you are passionate about.

Excellent goal to aim for, and it's quite possible (done it myself), however you do need to really develop a plan to pull it off. Richelle has given you some good advice there, treat it as a goal, but don't start setting deadlines as they can end in total frustration!

Not sure what products you have been looking at, but anything with a $20 margin sounds ok to me lol, I know there would be quite a few to be making that on products.

I guess it comes down to outlay vrs return, so if the products you are making 20 dollars on aren't costing that much, then the percentage of return on $20.00 could still be quite high.

Combine that with turnover and you could well be on the right track with those products you are looking at.
