Hi Sherine and welcome to the site, nice to have you here.
Regarding Via, you have to remember that they are a liquidator, and as such they deal in surplus stock, not 100% new stock as you would find from a wholesaler.
You can get both customer returns and new overstocks from many liquidators, including via, however even new overstocks aren't what you may consider new. The term 'NEW OVERSTOCKS' indicates that the stock has not been sold by the retailer previous to liquidating.
New Overstocks can still contain some defects, broken zippers, missing buttons and son on, just through people handling them on the store racks, so you need to always bare that in mind.
As with all surplus products, the quality will vary depending on the type of stock you buy from a liquidator, if you buy salvage, then you can expect garbage. If you buy Master Cased goods, then you can expect excellent quality, but you will of course pay a premium.
Expiration dates is always something to keep your eye on, but if you contact customer support at via they will be happy to give you those details. One thing about Via is that they do have excellent customer service, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Cheers
