The admin Was correct in saying their customer service was good. As fas as taking your order. Answering simple questions and helping you choose the best load for them. But the admin has not bought from them like I have.
I bought a load from them over a year ago. This is when we had the first buyer group on salehoo.
What I received were 2 Pallets of Sears tools.
12 Pallets of Housewares. From Macys.
8 Pallets of Bedding From Macys
Everything in the Sears Pallets were crushed by heavy items. Nothing Worked. And I sold I think 3 items out of the 2 pallets. I paid over $800 Per pallet.
The bedding pallets. ALL 8 pallets were in the Worst condition Possible. Everything was missing pieces. The featherbeds were torn up. I had only a couple charter club items no brand name items at all. Only the low end stuff macys sells. I got a huge amount of worthless pillows. Each Bedding pallet was $750+ each. I maybe made $800 total on all of them. The rest were tossed into a dumpster.
The housewares I got. On first sight I was very impressed with the stuff I got. So many things in boxes. But after testing these things. Almost every item was broken. I did not see anything that said store demo or store display on them. Not 1 thing was new. We listed many items and got terrible sale results.
We did however get about 40 pot and pan sets and a ton of out of box pots and pans that they probably considered junk. We sold 4 sets for pathetic prices. And then decided to sell them all separately. About 600 pots and pans. We made more money off the single pot and pan sets then we did the rest of the load. It saved us from a horrible loss.
Now im not saying this company is out to get you. But I never once saw a working item worth more then $299 on that load. I Never saw a dyson, I never saw a good cappuccino machine like I see on my current direct from Macys loads. And I never saw Designer bedding items.
Now with every pallet or load you buy yes you will get some junk. But when I started buying directly from Macys. You can easily notice the difference. Most of the pallets are neatly stacked. You hardly ever see a gaylord unless its a bathroom pallet with tons of towels in it. And generally on each full pallet there are several items worth more then a hundred dollars that can be sold. Not 1 or 2 items that are broken beyond repair.
This is the reason me and my wife decided to start ppwdg.com so people can order pallets and truckloads just like we do. Were not as fast or as perfect as the larger companies with tons of employees but we get the job done. And you will notice a difference in the product vs buying from a actual liquidator. Maybe one day we will be a strong competitor to a company like that. But those companys have been around for 10+ years. We will be open a year in march.
