Just comply with them. They will eventually let you sell what you want.
I think since you had a hiatus they might be concerned with account hijacking or account selling.
You somehow got caught up in their VERO software checking.
There are plenty of sellers selling new stuff. But they have some history.
If you are generally in good standing with them, open 2 more eBay accounts and sell a little on each one.
In the meantime open another Paypal account-don't use false info(I say that because there are sites saying to do this to get around Paypal, but once you do that and get caught you can never be legit with them again.) And open 1 other ebay account with that Paypal account and sell slowly on that one too.
Eventually, you will be free to do what you want on all of them.
There has been a sh#tload of scamming going on with eBay and Paypal. They have to do something to maintain their business and keep it alive for everyone.
Always, always be completely upfront with both eBay and Paypal. You will eventually be OK.
Also, use Auctiva. I say this all the time because if eBay temporarily suspends your account you can have your listings saved on Auctiva and when eBay releases the hold you can just click on list to eBay from Auctiva. When I am listing from Auctiva I always click save after I create a listing if you don't you will lose the data.
Don't listen to the naysayers about eBay. Since eBay started their new conditions for sellers I have seen my sales go up and I am getting higher final bids.
