hey everyone i dont know a thing about anything sellin online. wat are some good products i can sell where i can make atleast $100 profit on ebay? and what are the good websites i can get it cheap thxxx

I hate to break the bad news to you but there is almost nothing you can sell on eBay and make a $100 profit. Once you factor in listing fees, final value fees, and PayPal fees your are not left with much for yourself.

damm is that lame well thx. so i guess just sell bunch of stuff and on weekends sell at flea market

Hmm actually that is not quite true. I pay about $5.00-$35.00 an item and many and we get several items that can sell for as much as $300

I would say visit my site at Link hidden: Login to view and look into Customer return housewares pallets. Were getting some very nice pallets sent to us. I had 2 dysons on one of the pallets I ordered from macys just last week.

We are now able to get manifest pallets now so we can pick out some very nice pallets for you. Avoiding Pots and pans and going after the small apliances which is a major improvement.

To the original poster. If you expect to just come in an ask a simple question like where can I get something to sell on eBay for 100 percent profit, I think you are really not ready to start an online selling business. May I suggest you start off by selling everything you don't want from around your house and shed and attic and cellar. It's amazing what people will buy even if you think it's not worth much. Once you get the hang of the listing and selling processes on eBay then would be the time to look for a niche product - something not everybody else is selling (stay away from electronics like mp3 players and play-stations - there's very little profit in them now - never mind 100 percent profit!). Maybe look at buying a pallet of liquidation product which you can sell for very nice profit, however, if you are wanting to do it for the long term, finding your own niche would be the way to go because even buying liquidation products, you can't always expect to get the same kind of products each time although when buying liquidation product you are sure to get the best and lowest price - unless you want to go direct to the manufacturer in which case you would need a substantial working capital as manufacturers are not interested in producing small minimum quantities.

If it is womens and childrens shoes. I would wait for sales to pick up around middle or last week of july. most schools will be going back in session in august and sept. A lot of back to school buying like clothing and shoes should really do well at that time. :)

Thanks guys for all the wonderful advice. I have been selling stuff from my home which is in great shape, sometimes even new but Ihave a tough time selling on ebay. My listings are very nice and descriptive, also nice photos, but dont seem to be getting the results nor the prices that I should be getting.....ANY ADVICE????

You want to make money out of sites like ebay, don't over look second hand items.

Garage sales, auctions, flea markets......I always found more profit in selling second hand on ebay rather than trying to source new products with some margin left in them.

I recently bought a pallet of mixed goods at auction for $10.00, had a lot of car stuff on it. Turned out there was a car amp on the pallet that I ended up selling for $280 on ebay, still got 90% of the pallet left, though I doubt if there will be too many more of those finds amongst it.

Point is.....second hand on ebay doesn't mean second best, just think outside the square a little!

He is right. Have you ever been to a yard sale and seen a person buying up as much as they can fit into their car. These very people take the items and resell them on ebay for huge profits.

I know retired couples that do this for a living aside from their social security incomes and some are making thousands monthly.

I recently bought a Pool ladder for my kids for a Buck. I couldn't find them under 50 bucks on ebay. I kept it for my kids but If I took it and put it on ebay I would have made a great profit. People that dont know will sell so many good items dirt cheap just to get rid of the item. They dont even know what treasures they are selling off for a quarter or two dollars.

There is a lot of stuff to find out there to sell on eBay.

A friend of mine and also my roommate was out and about the other day and came across about 300 45s from the 50s,60s and 70s.

We found an Elvis 45 on Sun records in excellent condition and a 45 of jimi Hendricks when he was called jimmy james before he became and the experience.

We are hoping to make some good coin on those and then break the lot into sets of 50.

There was also the Beatles white album with all the insert and a Stones album which should net us 20$ for both.

Not a lot of money but we should get about 200 bucks from this find.

Were hoping the Hendrix will net us several hundred but we will see.

Then today another friend of mine found a brand new Denon stereo system worth over a thousand for 75 at a garage sale. That doesn't happen to often.

Sort of a dream find. He's not gonna sell it.

So keep your eyes open as you drive around. Ive picked up on the street about 10 computers and broke them down. I make about 25 to 50 dollars on each one. SDram goes for good money on eBay. Still waiting for the day I pick up a Dell and find RDram in it.

I have sold some computers I made myself and profited 80$ each on and some super laptop deals I purchased and made over a 100.

My funnest one was an HP laptop I purchased from BestBuy when I was in North Carolina. I used it for about 7 months and then sold it and broke even.

No doubt in my mind that the mark ups on second hand kill anything you can find to sell on ebay new.

There was a time when ebay was a serious second hand market place, before it become a dumping ground for fakes and new cut priced garbage from Asia.

Bottom line, you don't have to sell stock loads of the same item to make a profit on ebay, or anywhere. The right second hand gear will always make you a killer mark-up if you source it correctly, and that's a lot easier that trying to find a cheap wholesaler to make you money.

It always amazes me that so many people look at ebay to sell things, when it is a cut price buyers market place. There was a time when we would use ebay to source products for sale in the local papers and flea markets.

For some reason we made a fortune in fridges, was getting locally on ebay from 50 to 150, pick them up and run a print ad, sell them three days later for 200-350, washing machines was also easy sellers from ebay with good profit.

You try and make a 200 profit on a fridge by selling it on ebay!

Actually I think that Craigslist is a better secondhand market then ebay is. You can sell items close to its real value and pay no fees. I would rather try to sell a garage sale item on CL before ebay.

hello all.I'm new and I sell on ebay.I've been reading this forum for a while,and all these people are exactly right.So far I've been pretty successful with ebay (in my opinion).I sold everything that I or my children didn't want ( for my boys if they want to sell it they get the money it earns,but they also have to do the work,and pay the fee's) this get's them involved and helps me at the same time.They are all teenagers and can use the extra money.My attitude about what I make on what I auction is 'it's all profit Minus the fee's and I try to provide free shipping (which you can write off on your taxes).It was only in my way anyway.I have gone on a listing spree.I'm going to list at least 20-30 items in 7 days.(by the way I have had to now move to my storage shed for items,and the clothes).I don't care if I make $5.00 off one auction.to me it is still a profit.I have nothing in the item,well not anymore,and by the time I run out of stuff to sell,I will have made probably every mistake I possibly can make,and learned from them.My feed back will be way up there,since I'm listing one item at a time.I provide excellent customer service,and I believe by this time next month,I will have enough money to buy a sample pack,and then from that I can buy a pallet.I'll have the storage for that pallet also.Please remember to print off every auction fee,and paypal fee,and keep all reciepts for shipping These are all write offs.I always start my auctions off at a penny,(unless you have a hot item),this brings me attention to my auction.I write my description like I was talking to a blind person,and I use my personality.(people want to know you are a real human).I make at least 4 pictures (which you can get hosted for free thru photo bucket.)Always do what you say you will do,and a little more.I always throw a little extra in the shipment.I go to the $ store,and buy those little things 4/1.00,and I buy thank you cards,and hand write a personal thank you note for every customer.I'm not sure how this is gonna turn out,or where the real big money will come in,but it is giving me a great reputation on ebay,and this is a really cheap way to learn.(by the way you can write off the thank you cards,and gifts too).hope this give some encouragement to someone who is new.
