You must keep in mind that insurance is to protect the seller not the buyer....Once an item is paid for the seller is oblicated by law to deliver that product....If he (buyer) does not receive it for whatever reason, it's up to you to refund or replace the item......The only way you would be covered is if you had a tracking number it it shows that the item was deliver the the confirmed address...Anything other than that and you (the seller) are respondsible...
I hear a lot of people saying the 'buyer' opted not to purchase insurance...Most all buyers who are experienced in buying will not purchase insurance as they already know that they will be refunded if their item arrived damaged or not at all....
I myself as a seller always purchase insurance on any item that I don't want to have to replace or refund out of my own pocket....It's not the buyers respondsibility for the intact delivery of a purchased product..That's the sole respondsibility of the seller....
