Well I would not take any of paypals mesages and promises seriously. They tried to steal 23,000 from my paypal account after they froze it when I tried to put the money back into my checking account so I could order a truckload of products. They tried asking me for information about my business. I sent them copies of my papers to prove my company was a legitimate entity and even other document proving the existence of my company.
They promised my account would be returned to normal. Then they tried asking me what I was doing with the money. Which is none of their business. Then they requested I fax them my information from the SEC. Why? I would have to be a public company that traded publically on the SEC or NASDAQ to even need this information.
They drug this on and on waiting 5 days from each email response. Id call then talk to managers that seems to agree with my situation and basically laid it out my account would be restored. The last message I had with them were full of profanities and basically cussing out 3 managers over the phone.
after 30 days of putting up with thier crap i went to my local courthouse and filed a lawsuit against paypal to release my money or continue the suit and would get them for withholding funds , improper representation of the facts and sue them for an additional $125 thousand dollars in damages incurred to my business for the loss of sales during the time they froze my account to the time the case was over. I did this with help by lawyers that hang out on Link hidden: Login to view forums.
Funny thing, the same day that my courier delivered the subpoena they released the funds.
Paypal knows that most people think they have no options. They steal money from their members on a regular basis. their own employees are trained to stall and delay consumer complaints. And their own managers have admitted this in open court in front of federal judges during a class action lawsuit in which paypal lost.
If they have more then 500 dollars of your money then you should file a lawsuit. you can do this on your own for around 75 dollars at your local courthouse. Dont be a victim.
