Hi
Im very new to both salehoo.com & also to ebay..i have only used one supplier so far..& in truth..it was the easiest process i have had with any item i have tried to source..& it was an international order!
the profit i made payed for my salehoo join up cost & i consider it money very well spent.
Being in australia, its a bit harder for me to get a lot of the items i would like to sell from the U.S & other places at a good price,,but it's like jimmy says...lots of effort..have some faith,,show a bit of trust & accept criticism as well as advice.
Ebay i have found is ruthless when it comes to undercutting,,some traders shoot themselves & everyone else with the low pricing & market flooding..as the fees from ebay/paypal are so high..its a stupid practice & the only people that seem to profit are ebay, paypal & the postal people.
Coca cola doesnt share its recipe..& look at them!..its a worldwide brand,,if you could make it at home..they wouldn't exist would they?
I work full time nightshift at GM Holden as well as run a Stonemasonary business with my brother..as we are both tradesmen..& yet i'm doing the extra to build up some good suppliers both here in AU & anywhere that will do business with me..the best part is the friendships i am making as well as the invaluable advice these good ppl here offer..
I wouldn't expect anyone to hook me onto thier suppliers,,but if they would tell me what NOT to do,& how to avoid sales pitfalls..i guess thats as good as knowing the good suppliers,,at least u know then how to avoid the bad ones.
Patience & respect i have found go a long way..& pay promptly..then & only then are you taken seriously..
Thanks for the opportunity to offer input guys :)
dont forget us here in Oz if you want to trade!!..just try to offer the best postage costs,,because that is what hurts us the most..see you guys in the market & if we stick together more than against each other by selling items at the fair price,,not the ridiculous..we will all benefit i believe!
Kind regards, Vincent
