Jimmy is right. On most of these pay sites, you pay a fee and usually you then get a url link which in turn takes you to your state and/or irs site to fill out the form. So why pay for a link when you can just go to the state and federal site and start there. My forms were very simple and took only a couple of minutes..
Too, if you think that you are not sure about what you need and want, just take a trip down to your local federal building (courthouse) both state and irs will usually have a branch office there. The staff there will be happy to help you. If your city is small and does not have a branch office, just call the city or county clerks office and they can give you the location of the nearest office if you decide not to do it online.
Another good source of help will be your local Small Business Administration. They can tell you what you need and will be happy to point you in the right direction. They are also a good source of resources for starting out...
