I'm looking for a supplier of quality generic apparel which can be branded. Please do not spam the tread with ads. I'm looking for jeans, t-shirts, jackets, shirts, etc. Of course, a sample of each would be requested before any large transaction can be done.

Just go to alibaba or globalsources, it will take about 5 minutes to find 20 leads.

I've looked into branding my own clothing before, only issue I found is the MOQ is massive, 1000 minimum.

In the end decided there probably wasn't enough demand for clothing with my name on :)

It just so happens that it's also a project that I have been interested in for quite a while, just haven't managed to get it off the back burner at the moment, but I might one day.

T-Shirts are the market I'm looking at. Got a killer marketing idea for the branding, so I really want to test that idea out one of these days and see if I'm completely insane : )

For some reason the designer botiques wouldn't take it. I told them it would be the next Ralph Lauren, they didn't believe me so I gave it a miss.

I too am looking for clothing on alibaba.com. Although I am a bit weary after looking at all posts of people who were scammed through that site. However, I'm sure there are legit fashion suppliers. I want to get the names of some reputable high fashion suppliers on Alibaba.com. Any leads would be much appreciated!

Sorry but it would be hard to do what you're asking for. As much as I'd like to give you a list of legit suppliers on Allibaba.com I simply can't - honestly I'm not too familiar with the suppliers listed in there. Do understand that SaleHoo and Allibaba are separate directories therefore we cannot vouch for any of the suppliers listed in there.

By the way, what type of suppliers and/or products are you looking for? We'd be glad to help you search (the SaleHoo directory) for suitable ones.
