Welcome to the forum!

For starters, I suggest starting off by practice selling stuff from around your home. This will give you an idea and eventually feel comfortable with the online selling routine. Sell them on eBay, Craiglist, or even at your local auction sites. This will also let you know which products sell well online. Also, feedback on eBay is relevant for buyers to know whom their dealing with. With a feedback rating below 10, it is going to be difficult to get people to take you seriously. The higher your feedback, the better!

After some practice, I recommend buying small wholesale lots that most people use on a daily basis. Some ideas below:

Clothing: plus size, maternity

Kitchen: recipes, knife sets

Beauty: sunscreen, insect repellent

Homewares: towels, sheets

Special occasion: wedding supplies, party supplies

Garden : lawn mowers, gardening tool sets

Welcome to the site. If you're going to be drop shipping, you'll want to spend some time on product selection. Pick items that sell in some volume and that you can purchase at drop ship and make a few dollars each sale. Drop shipping is about volume because your margins are lower than if you bought your products wholesale ad warehoused and shipped them yourself.

I'm assuming that you are selling on Ebay, right?

I'm mentoring several people who are selling my two products to get started. If you want to make full time income on a drop shipping business, you'll need to develop about 100 product listings where at least 50 of the listings sell one unit per day. That's a lot of work setting up, but it's worth it when it's all established and you sell while you sleep!
