Wholesale pricing usually works in volume buying so the prices you see on a supplier's website are normally retail prices. Contacting the supplier directly will give you a better chance to discuss and negotiate their rates, depending on your purchase quantity.
Now sometimes you may notice products on Amazon selling at prices the same, or lower than the supplier's. That's usually because wholesalers also sell on Amazon themselves. With the largest online marketplace yet, Amazon can be extremely competitive specially when selling something that's a current top hit on the market. Either you order bulk quantities to drive the wholesale price down to compete, or you sell on other selling sites to avoid competition.
