If you’d like a risk free way of testing the waters, you can probably try selling unwanted stuff from your home. Just make sure that they are still in pretty good condition at least, something that you wouldn’t mind paying something for. A lot of eBay sellers start out this way. :)
Then you can start to do some market research and choose to sell those with considerable market demand. Just remember to search and deal with products you have interest in, the ones that you know and have experience with. Market demand plus your interest are the two important factors you need to consider. And then the supply. :) It gets really tricky since you also need to know if you will be up to too stiff a competition. Do not think that the trendiest product or the most popular ones or the ones that you like most will be the easiest to sell. Do an eBay search and see if your chosen product is being offered for sale and if there are too many being listed, then such product is saturated.
