I've browsing their site for a few hours now and like you I can't seem to find any solid information about them. The number of suppliers are not specified although they do accept safe payment methods.
I did a whois search on them and they're registered under Godaddy.com and only have a yahoo.com email address for their contact email..
I did find on their site a disclaimer that made their site sound similar to Alibaba.com where you get to join for free but at your own risk. Should you experience any problems with any of the suppliers, that will be beyond their service to you as a buyer.
If you do decide to pursue using this site, please do proceed with caution.
