I was wondering what do you guys think about using flash websites as long as it is done properly by that I mean without a million photos and what not to keep the load time down?

I think it would be fine but if I were you I would have the first page be an 'enter site' page so they can choose whether it is a flash site or non flash (have two versions) so that you don't loose any customers who don't have flash capable computers.
