Hi guys!!
Im Craig from the ACT in Australia!...I joined bout 2 weeks ago...my main focus is ebay!! but honestly?! is there anything left to sell that hasnt already been taken up by somone else?! :( my ultimate goal is to quit my job and work full time from home but im just loosing faith!! everytime i think i get a great idea for a 'niche market' I find that someone else has already thought of that and are powersellers and rakin in the profits that should have been mine!!! lol i have very little money to be able to do anything else but drop ship right now and honestly i dont seem to have trouble finding dropshippers but dropshippers for what?!? i mean i find something i think might sell, pop it up on ebay..n then 5 days later id be lucky to get even 5 page views! i seem to be forkin out money for ebay fees and makin very profit if any at all...Ive tried DHGATE as well but pretty much every item i list on ebay from them is ended by ebay within a few hours! and then when you question it ebya sends u an email sayin....we cant tell you the exact reason but y dont u look at our policies page and try to guess!....they dont really say that but thats what it feels like sometimes! lol what am i doing wrong!! I also tried using a few other dropshippers but then i realised that they have made their own ebay stores as well and list thier products for the same price i'll be payin for them so my profit margin goes right out the window there! i just cant think for the life of me any kind of product to sell and actually make a profit off that hasnt already been done?! annnnnnyways sorry to have a big whinge but im just so frustrated!!! PLEASE HELP!!! i would be very greatful to anyone who could give me some ideas of where to look for what to sell any ideas at all!! and if theyt are succesful i might even give ya a percentage of my profits! lol
PLEAAAAAAAASEEEEEE lol
THanks for takin to time to read this...
if you didnt well then.....your kinda mean lol

everybody feels your frustration mate, it's just the way it is. If you want an edge on ebay these days you need to be looking at the second hand market or liquidation, which of course isn't that easy here in Oz.

Thanks for that fudji :) also im lookin into clickbank and affiliations....is blogging an effective way to get traffic and possible sales?? like using blogging sites like wordpress.com??? let me no :) cheers
Craig
affiliations are making people some good money, so definitely worth looking into I would suggest.
I noticed an interesting blog tutorial link from you tube that wholesale101 posted in an earlier inquiry. Not sure if you saw it or not, but I had a quick look and it gives you a pretty good walk through.
Would recommend everyone taking a look at that.
Hi All
I am a complete newby to all of this. Initially like many others I thought I could buy at wholesale and sell on ebay.
Now I am not sure, I have signed up here at Salehoo thinking this would help, again I am not sure if i haven't just wasted money. This is my first venture onto this site yet everything seems to be so negative. I have read some reviews and have been put off the idea completely. If Ebay is no good to start and sell on and buying at wholesale is too risky, what do I do and where do I go.
I am currently unemployed being made redundant just before Christmas, I am also a single parent of 2 teenage daughters, Ideally I want to work from home. All ideas and information is welcome
Thanks
I am a newbie here, have $5 on my prepaid credit card, have no bank account (am listed as a bad banker), am retired and just trying to make some money (use to make $75,000.00 a year - now made $22,000.00) I'm also retired on a disability so working from home is critical.
I am very familiar with selling things on ebay but no longer have things lying around the house (lost home to foreclosure this year) In other words, the stuff I have in my 'apartment - small bedroom with shared fridge and bathr oom' are things that I'm now willing to part with and can't afford to replace.
I'm trying to figure out where I can go to start earning some money and this is one of the places I've turned to.
I guess I need someone to hold me by the hand and teach me (I promise I'll learn very quickly)

Hi there,
I'm a new member and just finding my feet. Does anyone have any suggestions on reliable dropshippers I can use? any products from any country? Thanks and i'm excited to be a part I've this community.
Cheers
Hi. Obviously I'm new here :)
I have a small Goth & Punk clothing business, 'Chaos Clothing', in New Zealand. I am looking for wholesale, liquidation, etc, specifically for Goth, Punk & Lolita clothing, shoes, jewellry, and accessories.
Reliable, reputable suppliers for these type of items seem very dificult to find 'out there'. The few I have found have horrifically high 'Minimum Quota Orders' - fine when you're dealing with a country of multi-millions of people, but not so great when you're selling to a niche market in country who's entire population would fit into one major city in most other countries.
I am hoping I will do better by joining Salehoo.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, e-sil
Hi e-sil,
We have no loads close tom your destination that would suit your buying requirements, not even sure we would have anything in our US lots neither, but I'll take a look and see what we do have.
I would imagine that you are talking about buying a carton quantity, and we will be able to supply if we have what you need.
I'll get back to you.
btw, love the business name, would be a big hit with your target market!
Hi fudjj.
That would be great.
I'm still trying to figure out how to find out when people have posted replies.
My email/MSM is listed in my profile. If anything comes up, please feel free to contact me that way - then at least I'll know I won't have missed it. lol
I am assuming a carton quantity is a large cardboard box? That's what I buy at the moment from my usual suppliers.
I actually started off as a designer/seamstress making one-off & limited-production items, 'Chaos Clothing' is my clothing label.
Then I moved to importing small amounts of clothing different to what I make, to widen my customer base, which has exploded beyond anything I expected - kind of like the Tribble population on Star Trek (original). So it seemed natural to just use the same name for the business.
It appears Goths, Punks, etc. don't let something like a global recession stand in the way of fashion :) I still have a 100% customer return rate - everyone who has ever bought clothing from me once on TradeMe, has continued to buy from me direct, often pre-ordering. Close to half of each stock order I place with my suppliers is made up of customer pre-orders.
TradeMe was a great place to start, but the business has grown too big for it, and it has become an ineffective, expensive and time consuming way to list everything I have. It is still a great place to draw in new customers, but my customer base is just too big now to rely solely on auction sites. I am expecting to get my webstore online next month, which is why I am looking to expand my range of items & suppliers.
Cheers, e-sil

No problems at all, will contact you through email as soon as anything shows up that fits the genre.
We are working closely with an Australia distributor at the moment, does offer something along those lines, although it's not hardcore punk/gothic. I do know that they have a great range of cool kids outfits, but the partnership is in the early stages and I have not yet had a solid chance to quantify their products completely.
I'll chase up some further information on that as a possibility, although it won't be liquidated stock, it will be wholesale products.
Good to see that you have found a recession proof business, no wonder I am so broke, all the punks have all the cash :)
Be in touch over the next couple of days after I chase down some leads for you.
Cheers

This is by far the best lowcost investment I had. I'm very impressed with the directory listing. It cut my search time to just a minute or two! Thank you so much for putting together this great site and continue to manage such awesome business. Outstanding!
