Have you looked at sites such as MKEnterprise or ChinaVasion? We have a number of sites that are either based in China or will ship to China.
As for US wholesalers, while some of their websites may say that they don't ship internationally, if you actually email them they are likely to make an exception.
Based in China, you are also in an excellent position to take advantage of the tradeshows as well.
