Actually, that's interesting.
I made an inquiry from an ebay powerseller about one of her lists (an ipod list), and she sent me a complimentary ipod list. It had one Italian source with ipods for $50 with a minimum purchase of 15. I'm assuming that it was the same one that you're talking about. The others sources looked interesting, but more like legit prices, although I hadn't checked them out. I thought that maybe she had just compiled them without really using them herself.
Anyway, I was interested in an Australian plus size clothing list she was offering (I was such a newbie that I didn't really know any better and purchased a couple of various ebay lists - one or 2 weren't too bad, but there were others decidedly dodgy). I soon discovered that she had banned me from bidding on any item she put up for sale (both lists and physical items).
I emailed to find out why, and she said it was because I had given negative feedback to one list seller, and she was nervous about getting negative feedback from me for the sake of a $13.95 list. The negative feedback in question was given to a list seller whose list seemed to be more just a compilation from Google aimed at dodgy people wanting to resell the list (he gave master resell rights), and I made the comment, 'Do not buy this product - do your own Google search!' which was completely honest, and I wanted to warn other potential buyers not to make the same mistake that I made. But now that I've read all your comments, I'm wondering whether she really did know that the Italian one was dodgy and didn't care as long as she made a buck, or even whether some of the others are dodgy. I'm now a bit nervous about approaching any of the sellers on this list at all after the above comments. And she claimed that the compilation was her own and that she had used all these suppliers personally to grow her ebay business as well as buy personal things for herself and family.
I did reply to that, telling her not to bother to 'un-ban' me, as I wouldn't be buying anything from her in future...... (Also told her a few other home truths about the feedback issue and the stand I take on giving only honest feedback)
Funny, this Italian place was one I was planning to look into, as I have very little funds and there aren't many decent dropshippers to Aus. Somehow, I don't think I will anymore.....
In the end, I did find one list seller whose ipod list did look genuine (ie closer to real pricing, etc), but I think I have learnt a big lesson about ebay and wholesale list sellers preying on new prospective sellers who don't know any better.
