Directory search not working

Doing a directory search in drop shipping, I tic the checkbox for "No TaxID Required". The result set that comes back appears to include ALL of the dropshippers (filter not working)

Will this be fixed? It is a MAJOR pain to search anything w/o it for me (no tax ID)

As a follow-up:

It seems that none of the criteria in the advanced search works

Including Type - Drop shippers, Liqudators, etc

It gives you everything because it seems all of the businesses have everthing "checked" in their profile.

I think they need to fix all of the existing sites and have the powerseller reviewers fill out the company profile

Hello russromei,

Thanks for your feedback. I recently used the supplier directory and it worked fine from my end. You have to take note that many suppliers do wholesale, dropshipping and/or liquidation so if their profiles indicate that they do they will show up in your filtered searches.

Also please note that we are updating the Salehoo site at the moment and that includes the directory filter options. When the new design is released you will be able to filter and sort suppliers for a number of different factors.

OK Great, but the problem I was finding was that the info in the company profiles was wrong. It claimed dropshipping in the profile, but go to the site and it says no. This ws true of other properties as well, this is why I reccomended (in another post) that the site reviewers set up the company profiles

Thanks for pointing that out, russ :)

It may be that during the time the supplier was initially added to the directory, that particular supplier may have indeed offered dropshipping but no longer does dropshipping at this time. Should you stumble across other supplier listings that does not coincide with the information on the supplier's site please let us know so we can act accordingly and update our listings.

Also, please note that my colleague, Irene is actually busy going through the directory and updating our supplier listings as well as adding new ones!
