Thanks For Responding Richelle.
The situation I wish to discuss is a business location. I know the advantages of running an online store from home, but I have hit a sweet deal.
I live near Buffalo, NY. 75 miles to the south (about 120 kilometers) almost to the NY/Pennsylvania state line there is the little village of Limestone, NY. Population 197. Small Place.
Here is the point. The Munucipial Building is leasing space for $83 USD a month. Heat, water, electric, internet, are all included.
The space is small, but I don't need more than maybe the size of a bedroom.
The drive is 1 1/2 hours one way.
My plan is to set up a desk and computer, connect to the internet and run my busness remotley.
I could use 100% for tax deductions rather than just a percentage of my home.
I would make a trip there every few weeks just to show up and put in an appearance.
Around home there is no deal like this at all. Small office space runs $500.00 and up. Too much money since I am still highly dependent on my job income.
(JOB is Just Over Broke)
Buffalo and Limestone are in different counties.
Question; Would I need to live in the county to register a business or can I live in one and register in another?
This is why I wanted to speak to someone from the states. I'm sure your laws are different from ours.
Thanks.
