Start up - rules of reselling wholesale designer goods

Hi I am looking to start a new startup based in Canada, I will be selling designer goods (D&G, Prada, etc) initially with ebay but the main goal will be a online store if all goes well with the sources I have contacted. The main concern I have is what the rules are about reselling wholesale designer goods, would these be considered grey market ? for example could I purchase from queen bee or luxury magazzino and then resell them in Canada ? Could I open a retail location and advertise it as a designer outlet ? Designer goods are particularly expensive in Canada and there is a great demand I just don't want to invest in purchasing if I cannot resell them or require permission or a license. Also could I purchase a wholesale lot from Europe then resell the entire lot. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely no issues at all, so long as you are purchasing through authorised channels and you are selling authentic products.

Another thing you might want to have handy is the designer product's certificate of authenticity or other documents that will help you prove that you are selling the real deal!

On eBay, it might be best to build your feedback first (if you are a new seller) before selling high end designer items. Otherwise you might have a lot of headaches coming your way...
