Buying from wholesaler, how to ship items to individual customers? Your advice needed.

Hello,

So my only thought when I joined was that I was going to dropship. Now I am considering wholesale as it seems there is more profit in this. I have no idea where to began to ship items to customers? Do I have to join UPS , how do I get materials to pack? Just plain and simple how do I ship to my customers? The only thing I have ever shipped was a letter in the mail lol. Please help!

Hi Kirsten,

Before deciding on a shipping courier it might be best to compare prices among the services available in your area, this way you are able to get the lowest rate yet offer reliable shipping to your customers.

Most shipping companies will provide free shipping/packaging materials and some will even help you pack your orders :) In case both options are not available you will need to buy your own packaging materials, we have a number of packaging suppliers in SaleHoo that may have what you need, like -

Also, if I may add, don't forget to check your local packing supply companies. If you live/work within a reasonable distance to one, you can pickup your supplies (and of course USPS delivers Priority boxes for free) and may even be able to establish a relationship with a company that could garner you cheaper rates and be a source of information/tips.
