Contacting supplier - what are the right questions to ask?

I am new to the world of ecommerce and have found a supplier in the UK that I would like to do business with. I would like to email the company for more information but am afraid I won't ask the right questions or sound 'business-like'. I can't be the only one who has felt this way. Suggestions?
