I a new member of eBay,I am looking for product supplier.recently I found a website, ' dropshipdesign.com' They supply auction plan or a website,Do someone know this company,Can I agree with them?

Ive been with them for 3 years. Its an excellent program but it depends what you want to do with it if it will work for you or not. I dont recommend using it for ebay. For one, dropshipping actually isnt allowed on ebay...of course thousands of businesses run this way on ebay and dont get caught...other ones do so there is a risk .

Yet as a contridiction doba is owned by ebay and thats pretty much a dropship thing too. Ebay has selling limits now when u start out so it could be difficult. If you dont sell the right proportion/vs unsold vs feedback left they will freeze your selling privledges for as much as 7 days. Some products have good profit margins, others dont because they are being pulled from a lot of suppliers. I have the website plan and I make about 1500 a month plus 400-600 in adwords revenue. With heavier advertising ive made 3k a month. I dont sell anything on ebay with it. I advertise it and it does the rest on its own. Way simple.

Hi. This is a good reply. It is good to hear from someone who is actually involved in the program and profitting from it. I've looked into dropship design and concluded that it could never work for eBay but might work well for one's own ecommerce site. I recently corresponded with dropshipdesign regarding shipping. It wasn't clear to me whether or not they gave the member control of shipping options. It appears that is somethings controlled by dropshipdesign.

SEstrella, do I understand you correctly that you use the dropshipdesign created website and hosting?

Anyone hear use just the data feed to stock your own, private website?

I am currently using DSD. It is ok, but you must invest in advertisement with it. Also, setting up good meta tags will go a long way too.

yes i use website and datafeed. most people get scared of the datafeed but thats what u need to get products up in places. they do make it easy to sell on ebay and im sure some people make it work but this and age even real products are hard to sell on ebay. usually people list a few items, get no response, give up and thats it. yes if you want to make some money you have to spend some too thats true of any business or website. the trick is to spend it in the right place in the right amount. most people complain about teh site or others but its generally because 95% of people dont have a clue what to do with a website. they seem to think u sign up and it floats around in cyberspace and just brings in money. youll need to do some adwords or something like dealio (sugest this cause they only charge u for actual sales no pay per click)

Most advertising is pay per click..you pay 10, 20 50 cent per click/visit regardless. places like this are shopping.com bizrate, etc.

Dealio is a price comparission site but instead of charging pay per click they charge you a percentage for a specific sale depending on certain factors. so you are only paying for sales not visits.

also dont assume youll sell things you think are good sellers like jewerly plasma tvs xbox. ive never once sold of those things they are always for bizare things you would never think to list.

the site for dealio is dealio.com and click on merchant advertising or something like that. always put adsense on your site so your recooping some money for whatever advertising u do. Mine varies from day 10-30$ which more than pays for any advertising. Theres also a few free comparission sites to list on you can find by searching for free shopping comparassion sites.

Also, can someone who has deal with this website tell me what type of web hosting it is using for example, are they using godaddy.com and is there a secured cart and verified payment system? An example link website would be helpful? Thanks again.

its hosted on godaddy. the will retain the rights to it. ie it wont be in your name its still listed under dropshipdesign. yes theres secure checkout. domain is good for a year then the charge something like 50 renewel. first year they waived it for me.

Thanks for the info, but is there any chance there you can remove all the ads that is on the website once you have join. A link to the wholesellers and dropshipdesign.com is not helping to benefit our profit.

you can remove most ads. it comes loaded with a basic banner heading for dropshipdesign and 3 on the side but under pref. you just click to turn them off. the ones on the side are adwords. while that does filter away some traffic (u can also filter those further to avoid competitive sites) you get paid for everytime someone click son them and for me that brings in anywhere from 400-as much as 900 a month, but its individual choice. those on teh side have nothing to do with website you would have to add those in on your own. and i would actually recommend keeping an ad or two up for them because they pay you affiliate sales too which add up fast.

Interesting place but I'd never recommend for eBay. Just use them to do your own online store and make sure you control and own full rights to your store.

Then drive traffic to it and you can FIGHT all charge-backs yourself, using Link hidden: Login to view and other areas.

This may seem ruthless, but you'll also want to get involved with Clickbank heavily. I recommend DAYJOB KILLER as a jump-off point.

The ruthless techniques they teach really do work over and over again, and you want to pair down the process and narrow it down to just a few things. Put that in action on your site all the time especially for adwords. Enjoy the results & help others get independent too.

Then if I were you I'd join an action group to stop VERO and fight back against the verified rights owner coalition. No matter what you'll be facing them. They are of the belief that anything not owned by the rights owners are counterfeits. No matter where it comes from, usually...

And they'll make your life a living nightmare no matter what you sell, so fight back hard & spurn them off of you. I'm deadly serious about this being the best advice I can give anyone now. And launch your Amazon stores everywhere.

This thread has been very useful, in that there is input from people that have actually used the site.

My concern is the amount of computer hardware that they carry. They will not offer a test account, and after signing up with a few other companies and finding that none of them carry motherboards, cpus or any other important parts for a hardware site, I am nervous about dumping anymore money into a dropship plan.

Can anyone attest to the range of computer hardware that they offer?
