How to import by bulk in AU and NZ

g'day guys

i have recently posted in the forums about anyone interested in bulk buying goods into Australia for supply to all Aussie's and Kiwi's. Sure you would have to have some capital behind you, but i am looking for some partners to share the cost of importing goods here. If you live in brissie qld pm me and let's met to discuss this further. I am posting this for serious investors so we can become a supplier to all of Australia and New Zealand and take the headache out of people asking where to go to get wholesale goods to import here in Australia.

Hi, The above poster has been in contact with me for quite some time working out how to aquire a large amount of goods for resale in Australia. He is interested in starting with A large amount of sporting goods. Which is known to be very popular in Australia.

I get many emails and messages a day from members and customers that want goods for resale in Australia. I get about 6 quotes a day from Aussie members about Ordering pallets. A single pallet is just too large to ship by normal means.

This person wants to make that idea a reality and is willing to pay for the bulk of this endeavor. By ordering 24-48 pallets worth of products at once.

But to help himself he would like to take on some help from other members that are interested in getting so he can still have some of his funds to fund his own company.

So for those of you that are interested you should talk about this on open forums or contact this member using private message. He is going through with this either way but having a little help would buffer his costs a little.

I'm also interested Darryl but find that I would rather sell something that I am passionate about which is clothing/bedding/perfume etc. I have imported for DLM offprice through Salehoo and while most of the products were good, after paying freight there does not leave much margin.

Also unless we are purchasing bulk (and I mean huge) lots of products for really bargain prices, the import duties, GST and for me being in far north qld, the freight, will kill us.

Just my thoughts but I'm still interested of learning more of what you are looking at doing.

Being already a member of the first two buying groups formed here on Salehoo last year, I may also be interested in investing in another group for down under (I'm in Melbourne). However, I'd also need to know more. I don't want to be involved if it is mooted to sell this sporting goods merchandise only on eBay (which is becoming a bargain basement sale). Also, some of the sporting goods would likely be for sports played in the Northern Hemisphere which are less popular in the Southern Hemisphere (eg ice hockey). Is it your intention to purchase the load and then disseminate goods to other sellers, or to sell the goods and share the profits with investors?

Im not certain but the way he explained it to me he intended to split it with other people.
