Hi gunit, There are several things that you might want to re-think on your listing. I only looked at the one for the gucci sunglasses. First, (and it may just be on my browser)but your listing display is formatted so wide that only half of the ad displays on the screen. You have to keep scrolling left to right to see the whole listing. While it may not appear this way on all browsers, it is probably apprearing that way on alot of them. For example, I only come across this on maybe one out of a hundred ads that I look at, so that would tend to make me think it the way you have the listing set up.
Second, your refund policy is very confusing. It really makes it sound like you are not standing behind your product..You listed it this way:
''If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can exchange the unworn item(s) in it's original condition within 7 days. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable & buyer is responsible for shipping fee both ways. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority! We strive to achieve excellent customer service and satisfy you with respect, honesty and reliability.''
There is no way most people are going to buy an item listed with a policy like that. Pay shipping BOTH WAYS? 15% RESTOCKING FEE?
Also at the top of your ad in the sub-title you state 100% money back guarantee. Then at the bottom you state that if not 100% satisfied you can EXCHANGE.
You are driving your potential customers away.
Also, your shipping is too high. $9.99 for priorty mail? Most people who shop on ebay know the cost of shipping already. I ship 2 pounds for $6.00. You do realize that most of them are going to CHECK the shipping cost using the shipping caculator?
Too, Try a different color font and style type too. That bold black font and type almost looks threatening. It's not a wanted poster.
Plus try to spice up your description a bit..'Be in style this summer, these authentic gucci's are sure to turn some heads...' 'Elegant and rich, you don't want to miss out on these authentic gucci's'...'You won't find a better price on this fantastic pair of HOT gucci's.'
Look at it this way, which on of these sounds more appealing: 'Chocolate cake for sale' or
'Mouth watering Chocolate cake. Creamy rich and
Delicate'.?
Give your customers some benefits of the glasses.
'Latest Style for 2007'. Protects your eyes from harmful UV rays'. 'Comes with gucci's excellent quality black leather case with GOLD embossed GUCCI LOGO!'
Your customer already knows that they WANT a pair of gucci sunglasses, you need to let them know WHY they NEED this PAIR.
You have great photos of the glasses. You might want to think about putting in a photo of an authenticity card or receipt. That will help put the customer at ease a bit also..
Do a completed listing check on gucci sunglasses. Just go to the site map page and you will find 'completed listings' in the first column on the left, down toward the middle. Click on that and then select the catagory the sunglasses appears in. 'Clothing, shoes & accessories>sunglasses'. Then browse the listing that show the selling price in GREEN color. Those will be the successful listings. Take note of how the seller listed the glasses, their title, description, font color and style, things like that. Then try to incorporate that same kind of stuff into your listings..Remember, if you want to be successful,,copy success.
Hope this is helpful. Too, I may sound kind of harsh, but that's not directed at you. I'm just speaking from experience and how I, as a buyer am seeing your ad. remember it's really ok to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. If your not making mistakes, then you probably aren't doing anthing. I know I made a ton when I first started, and still do...
Let me know if I can be of any help..gulfy13
