My take on this:
Most US brands are manufactured in China but these manufacturers are contracted with these brands. Most legitimate suppliers of original products in China can be found in Trade Shows. Most of them also don't actively advertise or promote their products online. They won't be in need of buyer leads like most rip offs.
There's also what they call overruns but their distribution is not authorized by the brand owners and because of that they can be considered fake.
The best way to find a legitimate Chinese supplier would be to go there for a visit, attend Trade Shows and personally meet them. It would greatly help if you have an insider there, too. There are also companies that provide this service for a fee-they can be your eyes and ears in China, can verify a Chinese supplier for you. But this might be ideal for big transactions.
Uniqbe.com is a HongKong-based company selling branded electronics. They are listed in our directory, has been discussed here before (you will find the thread by doing a forum search) and are also registered in powersellersunite.com and thewholesaleforums.co.uk.

About their pricing, once you're an approved reseller, then, you will get discounts. Now, the problem would be competing on eBay. As we all know, electronics is the most saturated market and competing would be difficult if you are not buying in huge quantities or liquidation where you get products for pennies on the dollar. So I think it'd still be wise to go for liquidation but check the listing/description. Most of the time, quality/functionality of their loads are not guaranteed.
Cheers,
