We thoroughly investigated what Ali2Woo and AliDropship have on offer. While these platforms share the same core features as a plugin for WooCommerce that will allow you to easily import AliExpress products into your online store and manage orders, AliDropship has a more extensive list of additional features, which is reflected in its higher price.

The major disadvantage of each is that there is no product vetting process, since both plugins work directly with AliExpress to import products into your store. This means you will need to be cautious about selecting products to dropship under your business name to avoid customer dissatisfaction with low product quality or long shipping times. We recommend ordering product samples from AliExpress suppliers before importing them to sell in your store.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Ali2Woo

Ali2Woo’s key advantage is that it is the cheaper option by far, but you do miss out on marketing tools such as abandoned cart recovery automations and discount codes, both which are useful for boosting revenue.

Because the plugin works directly with AliExpress, you’re going to need to be confident in finding and selecting your own products to import, as none of them are pre-vetted by Ali2Woo. We recommend treading cautiously by looking at AliExpress supplier ratings, customer product reviews and then ordering product samples before you start selling them under your own business name.

AliDropship is the more expensive option, but this corresponds with more features and marketing tools which can be used to boost revenue. AliDropship also receives sparkling customer reviews and exhibits a high level of customer service.

Because the AliDropship plugin works directly with AliExpress, there is no product vetting process, as with Ali2Woo. This is probably the major disadvantage of the two plugins. We recommend you order product samples before you begin selling them, but this can be a time consuming process to arrange and wait for them to be delivered to you.

Is Ali2Woo or AliDropship Better?

Based on our findings, both appear to have very similar features that look incredibly helpful for running a dropshipping store on WooCommerce.

At the end of the day it comes down to what type of features you are after. While AliDropship offers more, especially a range of marketing tools that do not exist on Ali2Woo, you will need to pay a higher price for it.

If you don’t need the additional tools that AliDropship offers then your best bet is probably to save money and go with Ali2Woo.
